Forward Germán Cano, from Fluminense, suffered a grade 3 injury to the posterior muscle of the right thigh. The Argentine underwent exams that confirmed the severity of the injury, and the forecast return to the field is eight weeks.
Defender Ignácio is also dealing with physical issues. He suffered a grade 2 injury to the anterior muscle of the left thigh, with a forecast return of approximately 15 days, a much shorter period than Cano's.
The club reported both cases through an update on the medical department. While Cano will have to stay off the field for about two months, Ignácio should return to availability in a few weeks.
