A man was left in serious condition after being hit by a car in Ourentã, in the municipality of Cantanhede. The victim was transported to Hospital Infante D. Pedro, in Aveiro, where he remains hospitalized.
The hit and run occurred on a municipal road in the parish of Ourentã. Authorities went to the scene, with the Cantanhede firefighters providing assistance to the victim.
The driver of the vehicle was not identified at the time of publication of the news. The GNR was present at the scene to carry out the investigation of the accident.
