The Federal Police seized seven firearms at Federal Deputy Mário Frias' (PL-SP) residence in Brasília on Thursday. The arsenal, estimated at approximately R$ 60,000, was confiscated because the weapons were stored at a location different from the one declared in the PF certificates. Frias holds an active CAC (Collector, Sport Shooter, and Hunter) registration, but may face legal proceedings for irregular possession due to the discrepancy in declared addresses.
Among the seized weapons, the most valuable is a 9 mm caliber carbine of Slovak origin. The item bears the inscription "Grand Power Made in Slovakia" and is equipped with a flashlight and holographic sight. On the market, a new model costs between R$ 20,000 and R$ 30,000.
The arsenal also included a cut double-barrel shotgun in the "coach gun" (stagecoach gun) style, which would cost between R$ 3,000 and R$ 5,000. This type of weapon gets its name because it was used for the defense of carriages in the American Old West.
