The president of LaLiga, Javier Tebas, considered that the World Cup final will be in Spain if they manage to change FIFA's governance issues. Tebas said he would try to "demonstrate that it has to be played in Spain, which is the biggest organizer" of sporting events.
Tebas mentioned that Morocco was invited after this issue, emphasizing that Spain is world champion and has the best infrastructure in its stadiums. These statements were made at the presentation of the Cost Limits for the Sports Squad of the current season.
The executive expressed skepticism towards FIFA, stating: "I don't believe any of FIFA's denials." This position reflects the existing tensions between Tebas and the highest football entity in the world.
