The president of the Supreme Federal Court, Edson Fachin, received several ministers of the Court on Thursday for individual meetings in his office. The encounters took place after the cancellation of the plenary session that was scheduled for this afternoon, and precede a trial scheduled for next Tuesday.
The trial next week will analyze a Federal Police report that identified Minister Alexandre de Moraes as the interlocutor of former banker Daniel Vorcaro in messages. Moraes himself was among the ministers who met with Fachin on Thursday afternoon.
Minister André Mendonça, who ordered the Federal Police to prepare the report that will be analyzed at the trial, also met at the STF Presidency's office. Another minister present was Dias Toffoli, former rapporteur of Operation Compliance Zero.
In addition to the Court ministers, Fachin also received the attorney general, Paulo Gonet. The meeting with the head of the Federal Public Ministry was added to the president's public schedule at the last minute, as were the other commitments mentioned.
