The Minister of Education, Science and Innovation, Fernando Alexandre, inaugurated the Confiança Student Residence in Braga, which provides another 786 beds for higher education students. The infrastructure is already welcoming students from the University of Minho and the Polytechnic University of the Cávado and Ave.
The project was financed with 29.5 million euros through the Recovery and Resilience Plan, representing a significant investment in expanding student housing capacity in the city of Braga.
With this new residence, Braga reinforces its capacity to welcome university students, contributing to reducing the demand for housing in the private market and facilitating access to higher education in the region.
