US Oil Production Continues to Break Successive Records

Now10 September 2026 at 19:51

United States oil production continues to reach successive record levels, consolidating the country's position as one of the world's leading hydrocarbon producers. This sustained growth in American crude extraction has been transforming the global energy landscape.

The conflict between Washington and Tehran had a significant impact on the international oil market. The geopolitical tension between the two countries created instability in markets and affected global energy supply chains.

Hydrocarbon exports from the Persian Gulf were particularly harmed by the conflict. The region, historically one of the main sources of global oil, faced disruptions in its export operations due to political tensions and risks associated with the conflict.

The steep rise in oil prices made production in other countries more economically profitable. This scenario encouraged investment in extraction projects in regions outside the conflict, contributing to a geographic redistribution of global oil production.
