The Cri.Ativos da Favela project, linked to the Instituto Heineken, took 120 young people for an immersive experience at Rock in Rio on September 4th and 6th. The goal was to offer these young people who are beginning a career in audiovisual the opportunity to understand in practice how the universe of one of the largest music festivals in the world works.
Instead of just watching the shows as audience members, the participants had direct contact with professionals in the field, creative processes, brand activations and different stages of production of large events. The experience sought to show these young people that it is also possible to be part of this universe.
Seven participants from the group were selected to take on the audiovisual coverage of the festival, putting into practice the knowledge acquired throughout their training. This was a concrete opportunity to experience professionally the area in which they wish to work.
