Oeiras receives teachers in "gala attire"

The Municipality of Oeiras held the traditional reception ceremony for teachers, an event marked by pomp and circumstance. The initiative aimed to mark the beginning of the school year and recognize the work of teachers in the territory.

Around 700 teachers attended the ceremony. The mayor, Isaltino Morais, was present at the event and delivered words of encouragement and recognition to the teachers for the daily work they carry out in the municipality's schools.

During his speech, Isaltino Morais highlighted that it is the Municipality's goal to create the necessary conditions so that teachers are "happy" in Oeiras. This statement is part of the broader strategy of valuing education professionals by the local authority.
