The Naval Procession of the Encounter in honor of Our Lady of Ínsua and Our Lady of Bonança took to the streets of Vila Praia de Âncora, marking the opening of the Festivities in Honor of Our Lady of Bonança. The ceremony took place with great devotion and featured a special participation this year.

The image and stretcher of Senhora d'Agonia, from Caminha, joined the images of the two ladies from Vila Praia de Âncora in the procession. This encounter between the three images was a highlight of the celebration.

Father Fábio Carvalho, from Mazaferes, delivered the sermon during the ceremony, leaving a message of hope. In his words, he asked that the encounter between Nossa Senhora da Ínsua and Nossa Senhora da Bonança be "truly pacifying" and affirmed that "whoever has trust will always have their prayers heard."
