The Professional Union Association of the PSP (ASPP) has scheduled a set of nationwide protest actions. The union association decided to move forward with these demonstrations as a way of putting pressure on the Ministry of Internal Administration.
The ASPP classified the communications from the Ministry of Internal Administration as "propaganda," publicly expressing its disagreement with the way the MAI has been communicating with the members of the police force.
The protest actions are scheduled to take place through October, the month in which a large national demonstration is planned. This final march represents the culmination of a cycle of mobilizations scheduled by the union.
For this national demonstration in October, the ASPP announced that it will invite the associations representing the National Republican Guard to participate, thus seeking to strengthen the protest movement with the support of another security force.
