The mythical Zeus nightclub, a leisure venue in Castelló where the whole city enjoyed music at a time when this type of establishment was scarce, has completely disappeared. The demolition of the space was completed, reducing the venue to a vacant lot.
The construction that now occupies the space, possibly destined for apartment buildings, dealt the final blow to this iconic venue. The property had been closed for at least 18 years, after a period when the Zeus nightclub operated under the name El Desván.
The Zeus nightclub represented an important reference in the nightlife scene of Castelló during the decades it remained active, attracting public with its musical offering at a time when nighttime entertainment options were limited in the city.
