Niterói now has a festival dedicated exclusively to comedy. The first edition of Só Riso takes place from today (10) to Sunday (13), occupying the Reserva Cultural space with four days of free programming that brings together shows, stand-up, workshops, chats, and a workshow.
The events are distributed between Sala Nelson Pereira dos Santos and Palco Riso Aberto, in the outdoor area of the venue. The debut programming brings together artists from different generations and styles of Brazilian humor.
Among the highlights are Samantha Schmütz, Caito Mainier, Flávia Reis, Dadá Coelho, Angelo Morse, Marianna Armellini, Edu Krieger, and the Comedy Troupe Os Melhores do Mundo, which closes the programming on Sunday with the show Notícias Populares.
The local scene also gains space in the festival. Samantha Schmütz and Caito Mainier, who are from Niterói, return to the city as part of the event's programming.
