The Almassora City Council, in collaboration with the Acelera Pyme Castelló Office of FEMEVAL, carried out a series of free information sessions on social media, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. The main objective of this initiative is to facilitate local businesses' access to new digital tools and improve business competitiveness in the region. The target audience is self-employed workers, small and medium-sized enterprises and professionals who wish to digitize their activities. This action is part of the efforts to modernize the local business fabric through training and awareness about digital technologies.

Airbus begins production of satellites for the EU's IRIS 2

Airbus Defence and Space has begun development of the first satellites for IRIS 2, the European program of approximately ten billion euros to create a sovereign constellation of about 350 satellites in low Earth orbit, intended for secure digital communications for government and military users, as an alternative to the American Starlink. The contract was signed during the International Space Summit in Paris, with Eutelsat allowing Airbus and Thales Alenia Space to move forward with production at the Toulouse factory. In parallel, Eutelsat ordered 299 more satellites for the OneWeb constellation, bringing the total to 669 new Airbus satellites for the company, reinforcing European industrial infrastructure to meet the growing demand for sovereign space connectivity.

The Regional Secretariat of Economy of Madeira will present on September 17th, at the Jesuit College, the Regional Agenda for Artificial Intelligence – Business (ARIA-Business), a strategy that aims to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence by micro, small and medium-sized companies in the region, with the goal of reaching 25% adoption by 2030. The initiative has the presence of the regional secretary of Economy, José Manuel Rodrigues, and the regional director of Competitiveness, Innovation and Sustainability.

The Vila-Stem Association celebrated the qualification of two of its teams for the National Final of the World Robot Olympiad (WRO), which will take place on September 12 and 13 in Andorra, at the Toni Martí Pavilion. The event, organized by Andorra Telecom, will feature the participation of 120 teams from across Spain and Andorra, thus representing Vila-real and the Valencian Community in this international robotics competition.
