The Sasocial platform of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) was awarded the Gold Seal, the highest level of certification granted to digital services. This distinction represents recognition of the work developed by the institution in the field of digital social interaction platforms.

The Gold Seal is the highest level of a certification that assesses the quality and security of digital services. The obtainment of this certification by the Sasocial platform demonstrates UPV's commitment to high standards of quality in the provision of services through digital means.

The Sasocial platform is designed to facilitate communication and interaction among members of the university's academic community. This recognition comes as a result of a rigorous evaluation process that analyzes various aspects of digital services, including their usability, security, and accessibility.

Portugal already has legislation on energy transparency for data centers (Decree-Law 84/2024) and renewable self-consumption schemes, but does not enshrine BYOE policies. Europe faces the challenge of balancing decarbonization and energy security with attracting investment in digital infrastructure.
