Cury says he would not support Lula 'under any circumstances' in the 2nd round and sets conditions for Flavio

The writer and psychiatrist Augusto Cury, presidential candidate for Avante, ruled out on Thursday (10) supporting President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) in the second round of elections. During a meeting with Faria Lima operators, in São Paulo, organized by Genial bank, Cury stated he would not support Lula "under any circumstances," not even 0.01% of the votes, under applause from the audience.

Cury declared that "Lula has to retire" and that "the PT model has to retire," expressing respect for what the president accomplished in his first government, when he had Henrique Meirelles as president of the Central Bank and Antônio Palocci as finance minister.

Regarding Senator Flavio Bolsonaro (PL), the main opposition name in the electorate, Cury conditioned the possibility of directing his vote to explanations from the candidate about his involvement with Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Banco Master, suspected of leading a financial fraud scheme that caused a billion-dollar hole. The text is interrupted before presenting all the details about this condition.
