13-year-old teenager found after disappearing with man she met on Discord

A 13-year-old teenager who had been missing since early Monday morning (7th), in Anápolis, in the central region of Goiás, was found on Wednesday afternoon (9th) in an abandoned property. According to the Civil Police of Goiás (PC-GO), she was being held captive at the location.

A 19-year-old man, suspected of having groomed the girl through the Discord platform, was arrested for the crimes of sexual abuse of a minor and unlawful imprisonment. The case is being investigated under seal.

After being detained, the suspect indicated to the police where the teenager was. The team from the Child and Adolescent Protection Division (DPCA) of Anápolis found the young girl in a small room, locked from the outside with a chain and padlock.
