The Bishop proceeded with the blessing of the Mortuary House of Bilhó, in a ceremony that marked the completion of the project for "Requalification of the Surrounding Area and Construction of the Mortuary House of Bilhó". This intervention fulfilled a long-identified need by the local community.

The work represented a municipal own investment of approximately 338 thousand euros and included not only the construction of the Mortuary House, but also the creation of sanitary facilities, the widening of the municipal road and new parking spaces, significantly improving access to the Church of Bilhó.

The president of the Municipal Council, Bruno Ferreira, stated that the municipality thus reinforces its commitment to investing in improving living conditions for the population and in enhancing the parishes. The mayor also highlighted the collaboration with the Parish Church Factory of the Parish of Bilhó as an example of cooperation for the benefit of the community.

The Mortuary House of Bilhó is now in operation and available to serve the community of the Parish.
