Rita Redshoes announced the release of a new album called "FALA", which arrives this month and is entirely composed by women. The project features the participation of 11 authors, including A Garota Não, Amélia Muge, Cláudia Pascoal, Joana Espadinha, Márcia, Mafalda Veiga and Margarida Campelo, among others.
The album includes originals from artists such as A Garota Não, Márcia and Mafalda Veiga, bringing together compositions from various generations and styles of Portuguese music made by women.
After the release, Rita Redshoes will present the album "FALA" in October, with concerts scheduled in Lisbon and Porto, allowing the audience to hear live the tracks from this collaborative work.
The initiative to create an album exclusively with compositions by women emerges as a celebration of female creation in Portuguese music, giving visibility to the work of various authors in a single project.
