Visual arts support program reaches 74 projects and leaves 60 out due to lack of funds

The visual arts support program promoted by the Directorate-General for Arts selected 74 projects for funding, out of 232 applications received. The competition distributed a total of 1.94 million euros among the approved projects.

About 60 projects were left out of funding, despite having met the competition requirements, due to insufficient available funds. This situation reflects the budget limitations faced by the program.

The Directorate-General for Arts is the body responsible for managing and evaluating applications, having established the eligibility and selection criteria for this competition aimed at the visual arts sector.
