Glorioso 1904 – Se é notícia do Benfica, está aqui10 September 2026 at 13:50

Everton Cebolinha is officially at Santos. The former Benfica winger, who made 95 games for the eagle club, was announced as a new addition to the Brazilian club, having previously terminated his contract with Flamengo. The 30-year-old player signed a deal until the end of 2026, with an option to renew for two more seasons, following the strategy adopted by Santos with other recent signings.

In the São Paulo team, Everton will share the locker room with Neymar and also with Gabigol, who also represented Benfica in the past. The winger will wear the number 7 shirt at Vila Belmiro, a number that became available after the departure of Robinho Jr.

The signing was made by former Benfica coach Jorge Jesus, who currently manages the Portuguese National Team. Everton arrives at Santos after a spell at Flamengo marked by several titles, but also by successive physical problems that limited his continuity at the red and black club.

Before returning to Brazil, Cebolinha had a spell at Benfica, where he was signed precisely by Jorge Jesus and made 95 games for the Lisbon club, before moving to Flamengo and subsequently to Santos.
