The Attorney General of the State alerted to a significant increase in delinquency among minors under 14 years of age, who are criminally unaccountable. Crimes committed by this age group increased 74.21% compared to the previous year, representing an increase described as "significant" and which in many cases results in violent and sexualized behavior.
According to data from the Prosecutor's Office Report for 2025, presented on Thursday, the archived proceedings involving minors under 14 total 7,749, contrasting with the 4,448 recorded in 2024.
This situation has been the subject of great concern in all sectors dedicated to the world of childhood and adolescence, according to the prosecutor's report.
