The European Central Bank revised slightly upwards the growth projections for the Euro Zone GDP. This revision represents a change from the more adverse scenarios that had been considered in the previous months.
The economists in Frankfurt, headquarters of the ECB, now forecast growth of 0.9% for the current year, with an acceleration to 1.4% in the following year.
Although the Persian Gulf conflict continues, the prospect of more adverse scenarios has been set aside in this new projection revision.
