Union points out lack of pharmacy technicians at SESARAM

The Health Services Workers' Union warned that the lack of Pharmacy Technicians in the Pharmaceutical Services at Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital is causing problems in medication management and forcing professionals to work overtime.

According to the STSS statement, the shortage of professionals has been ongoing for about 12 months, with the situation having worsened due to the permanent departure of workers from the institution.

The union also states that prolonged medical leave and the need to assign Pharmacy Technicians to other areas have contributed to the worsening of the situation at the hospital.
