The crisis began when André Mendonça, another minister of the STF, ordered the Federal Police to identify the correspondent of former banker Daniel Vorcaro in messages, and the corporation identified this person. This decision triggered the series of events that led to the current situation.
Court ministers were heard by the press and classified the measures as a "momentary defeat for Moraes," but remembered that Mendonça's decisions will still have to be questioned. The scenario remains tense as the court seeks to manage the institutional crisis.
