The aircraft in which Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was traveling to Norway came close to being hit by a drone shortly after taking off from Moldova. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening, as Zelensky was traveling to Oslo to attend the funeral ceremonies of King Harald. The revelation was made by Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre during a bilateral meeting held on Wednesday morning.
Støre told public broadcaster NRK that Zelensky told him the night had not been good, as he had spent the time on the phone tracking missile locations. The Norwegian Prime Minister stressed that the situation on the ground remains very dramatic. During his stay in Oslo, Zelensky also met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Espen Barth Eide, and former NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg.
