Goalkeeper Alisson Becker from Liverpool was fined 8,000 pounds (approximately R$55k) by the Football Association (FA) for improper conduct during the 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest in the English Championship on August 29.
The Brazilian was caught on camera kicking the electronic substitution board while leaving the field after the final whistle. The equipment was on the ground near the tunnel entrance and ended up being damaged.
According to the FA, the goalkeeper "acted improperly in the tunnel area after the final whistle." The organization filed a formal charge against the English-Brazilian player.
Alisson accepted the charge and received the fine, closing the case without needing a formal trial. The sanction was confirmed by both the FA and Liverpool.
