For the first time, Apple will put the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max on sale in Brazil on the same day the devices arrive in stores in the United States. Pre-orders for both models begin this Friday (the 11th) at 9am (Brasília time), and the devices arrive in stores the following Friday (the 18th). Brazil is among the more than 65 countries and regions included in the first wave of launch of the new generation.
The iPhone Duo, Apple's first foldable phone, has different dates. The device, which has a shape similar to a passport when closed and opens to reveal a 7.6-inch screen, will have pre-orders in Brazil starting October 16th, at 9am, and will begin being sold on October 23rd. In the United States, the schedule will be the same.
The strategy represents a change from previous years, since Brazil was never among the first markets to receive the new iPhones. Now, the most advanced models in the line arrive in the country alongside the American market.
