Just a few days before the start of the school year, the City Council of Caminha changed the initially defined plan to accommodate the students from the Basic School and Kindergarten of Caminha during the planned works at that educational establishment. The children from Kindergarten and 1st grade, who had been indicated as being accommodated in a specific location, will now be transferred to Vilar de Mouros.
The change caught the parents by surprise, as the decision was made at the last minute, very close to the start of classes. The parents did not expect this change in the student accommodation plan during the construction period.
