A man approximately 29 years old was the victim of an assault during this morning at Pico das Romeiras, in Funchal. The incident occurred in the early morning and the alert was received at 4:40 a.m.
The victim was assisted by the Funchal Firefighters. The man had a cut on his forehead and complained of having been attacked by unknown individuals.
The PSP, Public Security Police, took charge of the incident and is responsible for investigating the case. The individual was subsequently taken to the Hospital to receive medical treatment.
