Apple is developing a new feature that will allow users to use the same phone number on two iPhones. This news comes with iOS 27, the new version of the operating system presented by the company. The feature, called iPhone Handoff, aims to simplify one of the most complex tasks for those who use two iPhones.
With this function, the user can set one iPhone as the primary device and another as the secondary device. The phone number then follows the device the user chooses to use at any given moment, allowing them to switch between devices easily.
Apple describes this news as a way to use a single number on two devices, eliminating the need to redo the entire line transfer process between devices. Yesterday, the company also launched its first foldable model, the iPhone Duo, in addition to the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max.
