A bus trip to Coimbra ended in confrontation with three police officers. A 22-year-old man was arrested by the PSP on suspicion of the crimes of resistance and coercion against police authority. The incident occurred during the return trip of a group of people who had gone to watch a football match in Porto. The arrest happened in the IP3 area, when the group was returning from the trip.

A 69-year-old man died this Wednesday in Jugueiros, Felgueiras, after being stung on the head by an Asian wasp while harvesting grapes at a relative's house. The victim went into cardiorespiratory arrest and could not be saved, despite the assistance provided by the Voluntary Firefighters of Felgueiras and the emergency and resuscitation medical vehicle team from Vale do Sousa.
