Donald Trump spoke at the midterm Republican convention on Wednesday, where he made several promises and attacks on political adversaries.

The American President promised five thousand dollars to each American adult, if Republican candidates manage to maintain control of Congress in the November elections.

During the speech, Trump defended the United States' war in Iran, showing a warlike position towards the Middle Eastern country.

The Republican leader also took the occasion to harshly criticize the Democrats, in a speech that aimed to mobilize the party's base for the midterm elections.
