CasaCor Rio will celebrate 35 years occupying for the first time Rio de Janeiro's Centro. The show is part of Rio Art Week and will open to the public starting Tuesday (15), occupying Edifício Aliança da Bahia, a modernist building located in front of Palácio Capanema that has just undergone a retrofit process.
On the six floors dedicated to the show, in addition to the ground floor and rooftop, 45 spaces will be presented that imagine different ways of living. Between the 7th and 2nd floors, the spaces were organized as a fictional condominium, featuring studios, ateliers, lofts, compact apartments and common areas.
In addition to the residential spaces, the event will feature exhibitions, artistic interventions, gastronomy and coexistence spaces. The program will also include a schedule of shows on the building's rooftop. This year's edition needed a story that connected all the spaces, creating an integrated experience for visitors.
