Current and former president of Valongo learn of judicial decision

The current president of the Municipal Council of Valongo, Paulo Esteves, and former president José Manuel Ribeiro were notified of a judicial decision regarding a case of abuse of power.

Both mayors were accused after in 2020 they banned the circulation of trucks on Municipal Road 606, a road in the municipality of Valongo.

The judicial decision was communicated to the two politicians, who now know the outcome of this process that has been ongoing since the measure was implemented.

The case focuses on the measure taken by the municipality that restricted the access of heavy vehicles to this municipal road four years ago.
