The IV Euro-Venezuelan Jazz Festival will take place between September 18 and October 4, bringing together musicians from eight countries in solidarity with those affected by the double earthquake of June 24. The festival will run for three weeks in the cities of Caracas and La Guaira, with La Guaira being the state most affected by the seismological phenomenon.
Among the participating countries is Portugal, whose participation demonstrates international support for Venezuela at this time of recovery. The festival also features artists from seven other countries not specified in the article.
The initiative is organized by the European Union Delegation in Venezuela, with support from the embassies and diplomatic representations of the participating countries. The event aims to promote encounter and artistic creation as a way of demonstrating solidarity with the population affected by the natural disaster.
