An application called "creches.app" was created that allows access to information about all the nurseries in the country. The platform was developed by a father who, at the time of creation, did not yet have the baby born, but was looking for a nursery to place the child.
The application is free and already has thousands of family users. The main objective is to facilitate the search and access to information about the nurseries available in Portugal.
The app's creator decided to develop it after feeling difficulty finding an adequate nursery for his child, identifying a gap in the way this information is made available to families. The platform thus allows simplifying the process of looking for places in nurseries.
