The European Central Bank (ECB) holds a monetary policy meeting on Thursday in which it is expected to announce an interest rate hike, a decision that will affect financing conditions in the euro area.

Investors will also follow the publication of economic data from the United States, namely producer inflation numbers and unemployment. The US is also starting a bond buyback program during this day.

The monthly report from the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) will also be released, offering a perspective on the evolution of the global oil market.

In terms of corporate results, tech giant Oracle is presenting its accounts, allowing markets to assess the company's financial performance.
