Ibon Berasategui, 32 years old, lives in his village surviving on less than 300 euros a month. The young man spends approximately 100 euros on rent and about 110 euros on food. According to his own words, the low income does not allow him to buy products like chocolate bars, industrial cakes, cookies, and similar items.
More and more people are making the decision to leave big cities to settle in remote villages, located in mountainous areas. This phenomenon represents a significant change in the residence and lifestyle patterns of part of the population.
Most of these people who settle in these villages live completely self-sufficiently, depending on their own resources and the land to survive. However, the article acknowledges that this way of life is not accessible or viable for everyone.
