Lucia Sisic, a model who held the title of Miss Austria, died at the age of 22. The information was announced by the beauty pageant organization, which paid tribute to the young woman. The cause of death was not disclosed.
Sisic had been crowned Miss Austria in 2024. Since there was no new edition of the contest since then, she remained with the title at the time of her death.
In a post on social media, the organization mourned the loss and expressed solidarity to the model's family and friends. "Lucia will remain in our memory as a wonderful young woman. In this difficult time, our thoughts and most sincere solidarity are with her family, her friends, and all the people who were close to her," the pageant wrote.
In addition to her modeling career, Sisic had publicly shared aspects of her personal life with her followers.
