The specialist explained that the effectiveness rate of Patriot missiles requires the launch of at least two interceptors for each enemy ballistic missile. This logistical requirement represents a significant challenge in terms of ammunition consumption.
Isidro de Morais Pereira also highlighted that worldwide demand has strongly pressured the American manufacturing supply chain. Production has not been able to keep up with international demand for these defense systems.
