The 11th Social Week takes place in Braga between September 15th and 17th, with population aging and the future of the solidarity sector as central themes. The initiative is promoted by the District Union of Private Social Solidarity Institutions (IPSS).
The event takes place under the theme "Because time doesn't stop – Preparing for tomorrow starts today", which reflects the concern with the demographic and social challenges the country faces.
The debates will focus on issues related to population aging and the implications for social solidarity institutions, in a context of growing demographic transformation.
The organizers expect to bring together professionals, researchers, and managers from institutions in the sector to discuss strategies and solutions to address the current and future challenges of the solidarity sector in Portugal.
