Arsenal beat Napoli 1-0 at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, in a Champions League match. The only goal of the match was scored by Norwegian Martin Ødegaard at the 75th minute of play, when the last quarter of an hour was already underway.
The English team clearly dominated the match, having shot 26 times during the 90 minutes. Despite the control of the game, Arsenal players struggled to convert the various opportunities created, which meant the team couldn't breathe a sigh of relief until the moment of the goal.
This result puts Arsenal in a favorable position for the second leg of the quarter-finals of the European competition, which will be held in London. The team coached by Mikel Arteta thus achieved an important away victory against the current Italian champions.
