Carlo Ancelotti made this Wednesday his first call-up for the Brazilian national team after the World Cup in Qatar. The Italian coach's list brought major renewal to the group, with notable young players and lesser-known names by the Brazilian public.
Among the new call-ups is Arthur Dias, a 19-year-old defender from the Athletico-PR youth academy. The young defender made his professional debut in August last year and this season has accumulated 30 games wearing the Hurricane shirt.
Arthur Dias is accustomed to wearing the yellow jersey, having been called up for the national team's youth categories since under-17. He has been one of the leaders of the under-20 team and participated in the conquest of the last South American Championship in that category.
In addition to Arthur Dias, Ancelotti's call-up featured other lesser-known players, such as Mauro Jr., who are also part of the renewal the Italian coach intends for the Brazilian national team.
