The head of Israeli diplomacy stated today that there is no "any intention to expel or deport anyone from the Gaza Strip." This declaration comes after the Israeli Defense Minister revealed a plan to withdraw the population from the territory.

The reversal by the Israeli government, through the position taken by the head of diplomacy, comes at a time of great international tension regarding the situation in Gaza, where the civilian population has been severely affected by the conflict.
