The food basket rose again for the second consecutive week, reaching the value of 255.26 euros. This increase represents a continuation of the upward trend in prices of basic food products.
The food basket is composed of 63 food items, which include categories such as meat, frozen foods, fruits and vegetables, dairy products, grocery items and fish. These products represent the essential spending of an average family on food.
The increase observed last week follows a previous rise, which means this is the second consecutive growth in the prices of the food basket, indicating an upward trend in the cost of essential food products.
