The tradition of corn husking returns to Santiago de Bougado through an initiative by the Ethnographic Group Danças e Cantares de Santiago de Bougado. The event aims to remember how corn was husked in the old days, keeping this traditional practice of the local culture alive.
The husking is scheduled for September 26, at 9:30 PM, and will take place in front of the Mother Church of Santiago de Bougado. The event features the participation of the hosting group, the Ethnographic Group Danças e Cantares de Santiago de Bougado, and will also include other participants.
