ANGOLA AND BOTSWANA STRENGTHEN ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIP

Angola and Botswana reinforced their bilateral cooperation in Luanda, with the signing of three legal instruments aimed at expanding economic and sectoral relations between the two countries.

The sectors covered by the agreements include oil, energy, livestock, and conservation tourism, demonstrating the broad range of areas of cooperation between the two nations.

The instruments comprise two cooperation agreements in the fields of Defense and the establishment of a Binational Commission, as well as a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of Livestock.

The signing of the documents was witnessed by the President of the Republic of Angola, General João Lourenço, and his counterpart from Botswana, consolidating the commitment at the highest political level for the strengthening of these partnerships.
