Book "Hora di Bai" by Manuela Vieira will be presented today

The book "Hora di Bai" by author Manuela Vieira was presented on Wednesday, September 9th, at 6:30 PM, at the Design Centre Nini Andrade Silva. The work, published by Edições Fraternitas, marks the author's most recent contribution to the literature of poetry.

Manuela Vieira was born in Angola and is the daughter of Cape Verdeans. She has been living in the Autonomous Region for over 30 years, possibly Madeira, given that the launch took place at the Design Centre Nini Andrade Silva, a cultural landmark in the region.

The launch event was attended by those interested in the author's work and Portuguese-language literature, according to the announcement that publicized the launch.

José Pedro Ribeiro Pereira, a 22-year-old young man from Fontão, won the contest to create the image for the Feiras Novas, a traditional pilgrimage in the Minho region. His proposal placed the woman of the Feiras Novas as the central figure, surrounded by a family sequence with the grandfather, the son, and the grandson, representing what, for José Pedro, distinguishes the pilgrimage: the people who come together.
