Tarcísio says opposing decisions by STF ministers on federal police leadership generate 'legal uncertainty'

São Paulo Governor Tarcísio de Freitas stated on Wednesday (9th) that contradictory decisions made by Supreme Federal Court ministers regarding the leadership of the Federal Police create "legal uncertainty" and harm public trust in institutions. The comment came after Minister Flávio Dino ordered the return of Andrei Rodrigues to the leadership of the Federal Police, overturning a previous decision by Minister André Mendonça who had ordered the temporary removal of the delegate.

Tarcísio declared that the Supreme Court is being put to the test and that at some point it becomes difficult to trust the institutions. He questioned what credibility and security the Court is transmitting to society given these conflicting decisions.

Dino's decision was interpreted by those close to Minister Edson Fachin as a "run over" of his previous position. Senator Flavinho Bolsonaro criticized the measure, classifying it as a "decree against the Constitution," an expression used to refer to a decision made without respecting constitutional procedures.

The commentator highlights what he considers to be selective hypocrisy of these artists in their condemnation of certain figures while participating in an event associated with Stalinist regimes responsible for millions of deaths.
